About Me
Octavio Molmenti is a Founding Partner at H3 Data Power Solutions, a company developing independent clean energy solutions for the growing power needs of datacenters, hyperscalers & AI sectors in the US.
Until 2023, he was Galileo Technology’s Global Head of Strategy. Galileo designs, manufactures & markets innovative, value-added solutions for the energy industry. His focus has been on the de-carbonization of the energy value-chain, using technology, modularity & scalability to generate cost-effective solutions in the liquefied natural gas, renewable natural gas / biogas & hydrogen sectors. Octavio developed joint ventures & cornerstone investments with key global strategic partners including NextEra Energy, Helmerich & Paine and Haliburton. He has continued to serve as a strategic adviser to the CEO.
Prior to 2018, Octavio spent two decades in finance where he was most recently Head of Citi’s Head of New Energy Technologies, Co-Head of Citi’s Energy International Markets franchise, as well as a Senior Managing Director in Citi’s US Energy franchise. He acted for clients in a general corporate advisory capacity, with a particular focus on innovative, structured and cross-border operations. Octavio joined Salomon Brothers in New York in 1998, spending time in the company’s London, Paris, Moscow, Beijing & Kuwait offices, to later return to the US, being based in New York & Houston. He has advised in excess of $800bn of transactions throughout his banking tenure.
Octavio serves on the Advisory Council to Pope Francis. He is a frequent guest speaker in finance, game theory & comparative history at several universities, as well as being involved in various charitable organizations. He graduated with honors with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and has four years of Army training.
